On May 15, 2025, the opening ceremony of the XVIII International Conference “Central Asia – 2025: Internet and Information-Library Resources in Science, Education, Culture, and Business” took place in the city of Fergana.
Representatives from ministries and agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as foreign guests, congratulated the conference participants, emphasized the relevance of this event, shared their thoughts on its significance in our developing society, and wished success in the work of the conference.
During the event, Khayrullo Bozorov, the governor of Fergana region, was awarded the "Excellence in Information Library Work" badge for his contribution to the development of the information-library sector, promoting reading culture, expanding book circulation, and providing information-library services to the population of the region.
