V Republican "Reading Week"
The opening ceremony of the 5th Republican “Week of Reading” was held at the Alisher Navoi State Library under the slogan “Uzbekistan – a Nation of Readers.”
During the ceremony, prominent figures such as Alisher Qodirov, Chairman of the Central Council of the Democratic Party “Milliy Tiklanish,” and Sirojiddin Said, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, delivered speeches about the importance of reading and fostering a love for books among the youth, officially launching the event.
As a reminder, the week began on April 21 this year and will continue throughout the country until April 27.
