TSUE information-resource center staff member participated in "IFLA WLIC 2025" Congress
From August 18 to 22, 2025, the IFLA WLIC 2025 World Library and Information Congress was held in Astana, Kazakhstan. This congress is one of the largest international events in the library and information field. Specialists from 114 countries took part in the event to discuss current trends, challenges, and prospects for the development of libraries and information centers.
Tashkent State University of Economics was represented at the congress by the Head of the Department of the Information Resource Center, Bobur Egamnazarov. The program addressed key issues such as the digitalization of libraries, expanding access to scientific knowledge, integrating innovative technologies into the educational process, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of information and knowledge.
The participation of the university’s representative in this large-scale international forum marked an important step in strengthening the scientific and educational potential of the Information Resource Center. The knowledge, experience, and new professional contacts gained will contribute to the further development of library and information activities at Tashkent State University of Economics.
